Lazard is a #4 WR at his best. He's not a #2 and honestly don't want him as a #3 either. He's very much a high floor low ceiling type. Lacks athleticism to be a standout WR or even a decent starter.

Jackson was a mistake from the day he was drafted. His only chance for success in the NFL was on a zone coverage team.

Allen Lazard ran a 4.55 40 at 6'5" 227 lbs, 17 bench reps, 38" vert, 10'4" broad, 4.33 SS and 7.11 3-cone. That's better than someone you may have heard of in DeAndre Hopkins at everything but the 3-cone, and Hopkins was only 214 lbs. Lazard is plenty athletic enough to be successful.

I’m more optimistic about the upcoming season then most here( mostly because of our division). But I agree totally with stroh on this one. Lazard is not close to being a 2. Fuchness will be that. Maybe he can function as a 3. My hope is EQ will be 3. Also Jackson can’t play man. He grabbed in college, he grabs in the pros.

I don’t know what’s gonna be worse the Packers season or the comments on CheeseheadTV, you can try and make sense of the draft all you want but it’s not gonna make any difference. I doubt any of the picks contributes this season and I’m tired of hearing about the future . We were a receiver and a stud inside linebacker away and now we are not even a playoff caliber team.

Whaaaaat? We have at least a better than average WR group with a good chance to be top 10.
Maybe we are one good season out of our QB away. And the good thing, it can happen this year.
Draft was good, but we really wont find out till 2022 (FUTURE!) You wont know, but from today point of view is everything future, even tomorrow.

But you are absolutely right with the YOUR comments on CHTV

Well!. We talk about the future because except for Dillon and maybe Degaura the rest of the picks don´t help in the short term. Some of us think that the Love pick was terrible. They are talking about how great his 2018 was and justifying a terrible 2019 because his WR and TE were not getting any separation, Welcome to the Packers, you think he would have done better throwing balls to Graham or Allison or MVS agaisnt a NFL defense. The pick is a non sense at this stage of Rogers career and the strategy that the Packers had in FA last year. They went all in to improve the defense and make a win now team and this year suddeny we draft a guy to be a startert in 2022, like there is not going to be any other QB of his level in the next 2 years in the late first round of the draft.

How about this for coming full-circle? Dak doesn't shine first year in McCarthy's revamped O, so they trade him to a team not named GB and backdoor a trade for Arod who is familiar with the O and goes on to win at least one more chip with the coach he supposedly despised; it could be like 2011 all over again if DAL has the cap to keep that O core together.

Gute got us into a totally awful contract with Rodgers and managed the worst rated draft in the league.

Should we trust Gute to be an acceptable GM going forward?
