Aaron - since you've been to Chilton, you should know your old time beers are "too Milwaukee"
How about Chief Oshkosh, Adler Brau, Rahr's, Kingsbury, Rhinelander, Oconto.? Farmers drank local beers because they had fewer chemicals than Milwaukee beers which meant fewer hangover headaches for milking their cows in the morning.

Wrong! The first hangover I ever had was when I was 16 and a buddy and I went camping with a case of the Chief. My head hurt so bad I almost split it open with an ax to relieve the pain. And it didn’t taste much worse coming up as it had going down.
