According to Sportrax the Vikings are just behind the packers -14 mil. in Cap. Their ahead of the packers in run Defense. Yet; They signed a run stopper in Pierce. What the heck is Gute thinking? Doesn't he look at stats? Just what the Heck is going on in Green Bay?

Seems in your little equation you left out the fact they released 3 starters on def.(I think was 3) and also traded away their best wide receiver to get cap space Do really you think that in all was a improvement by adding one player?

The point was they had less according to sport tax. And the extra cap money went to a QB. They filled a need at dt after releasing a problem. Did the Packers? The Trade was a wind fall of picks. That Was Cap management. And I believe Thielen was a better WR anyway.

Stockholder you said it right , Gute failed already for fixing the run defense . But we have the third round pick 230 pounds Oren Burks to be the run stopper.

We may be done in free agency at this point, except possibly some Uncle Ted-like, Day 14 dumpster diving.

It's almost comical watching people lose their minds in day TWO of free agency. Lot's of players still out there.

I'm so glad we are being quiet and responsible in free agency, Da bears just signed Nick Foles and they are now over 5 million in negative cap. That doesn't even include Jimmy Graham's contract that may add another 9 million to the negative. They need to dump some contract that will most likely cost 7-8 million for Foles and another 10 million for Graham due to the added dead money that will go with it. They were already in cap hell with only 10 million in cap room and little money to pay those that are already there. I'm happy we aren't part of that kind of circus.

I know he said last offseason it’s either a Cali team or a Florida team but Suh could be an interesting player for the Packers he’s shown the ability to improve the production of other players around him just look at Aaron Donald last year and Shaq Barrett this year Clark could probably put up 10 sacks next to him he’s also still very good against the run even if his pass rush skills have diminished. I don’t know what he’s pricing himself as these days but Gute should have his antenna’s up.

Suh signed a 1 year deal for about 9 million last year nothing about that is unaffordable.

Do we go after Clay now that he's been released? Definitely better options than Goodson / Burks at ILB
