Cullen Jenkins Answers The Bell

If I'm going to call someone out, I need to give them praise when it is due.

Watching the Cowboy game again last night, it was apparent that Cullen Jenkins was an absolute beast. He even outplayed Kampman, and that is saying something. I had written just before the start of the season that Jenkins needed to start showing that he was worth the contract extension he signed last offseason. He is certainly on his way to doing just that. It was great to see his patented sneak-inside-at-the-snap-of-the-ball-and-destroy-the-running-back-in-the-backfield (TM) play. He used to do that at least once a game when he was a full time defensive tackle and it was great to see it again. Plus, he had an absolutly brilliant inside rush on the play that Romo hit Austin for the touchdown which would have resulted in a sack if Jason Hunter had taken a better route to Romo on his stunt from the opposite side.

All in all, Jenkins has played very, very well. Here's hoping he keeps it up.
