Could Thompson Finally Trade For Moss?

Jarvis, that is.

Word this afternoon from National Football Posts' Wes Bunting  is that the Broncos have dangled the defensive end in trade talks. Moss' value is at an all time low, almost as low as Justin Harrell's.

But unlike Harrell, I think Moss can play.

Thompson should ship the Broncos a 5th or 6th round pick (yes, I think that's what Moss would garner at this point) and convert him to an OLB. He's athletic, he's shown an ability to rush the passer and would bring more speed off the edge than almost anyone currently on the Packers' roster.

So consider this my once-a-year-start-a-trade-rumor-that-will-never-happen post.

I don't know much about Moss, but a 5th rounder for a backup on a historically bad defense? Is your faith in TT's late round abilities that bad?

Well, I think the Broncos are going to a 3-4 as well so one might think that they would evaluate moss in the same way as us......something is fishy.

Do it. For a 5th? But I've heard they want to start him and groom him, so it's unlikely that they'll trade. But at 5th we can't get a better player than him...
