Clay Matthews Eyes Nov. 10 Return for Eagles Game
Clay Matthews told me on his way out of locker room that he will have the pins taken out of his thumb on Nov. 4. Won't play that nite vs CHI

Demovsky followed his tweet with a post where Matthews says he could be ready to take on the Eagles on November 10th.

The headline and the content don't seem to add up. Not playing Nov. 4 =/= playing Nov. 10.
Is playing one week after getting the pins removed a realistic expectation?

Yes, that's the indication at this time.

I updated it to include the whole article from Rob, but from what I remember from twitter when Matthews first had surgery was that one week after pins are out you can club. Depends on how the pin removal spot heals more than the bone repair at that point.
Of course this is from the medical degree I earned from twitter.

Cool. Thanks.
As long as he's back for the Thanksgiving game, I'll be happy.

I'm with ya ...apparently the lions have some pretty decent wide receiver that we will need to compete with.

Would be great but please do not rush it.

Everybody but Cobb and Fin should be back by Eagles game. Van we get other two back before season's end? That would be huge!
