\"Changes Are Coming\"

Michael Lombardi, who actually knows people in the NFL and with the Packers, had a very interesting quote in his morning "Diner News" column today:

I hear changes are coming in Green Bay and they will start on the defensive side of the ball.

All of Packer Nation waits with baited breath...

My breath is bated. Let's hope his sources actually exist. He's been known to be very, very wrong in the past. I'm not sure anyone, short of Nostridomus (sp), can get into TT's mind.

I think I'm more excited now than at any time during the year. No drama about #4 heading into next season. Good young team with nice prospects for 2009. My excitement will only increase if Sanders is gone (AND a defensive stud is hired to take his place)

I hope everyone watched Jim Johnson's defense attack, attack, attack until the final second. This is the type of DC we need. There was no let up, no clock management, just smach mouth, attacking defense. I hate prevent defense (Sanders).

Does anyone else believe Andy Reid is about two Philly Cheesse Steaks away from the ER?

Special teams were JUST AS BAD! Don't let the poor Bob Sanders go home alone. Please send Mike Stock so they keep each other entertained!

La Canne! Ha, what a hoot! You beat everyone to the punchline!!! If only we would get THAT lucky... Just to throw some options out there, do any of you know who the best DC might be, out there right now? I'm looking, but there's not much to find. Other than a few from the East Coast. I don't think the Belicheck Coaching Tree has all that much fruit on it. Same with the NYG Coaching Staff. Not like the Holmgren Tree. Options, guys .... any options?

And, yes, I would re-sign Jim Bates in a cheese-minute!

Just to be clear - I would only keep Hairston & Washington, on the Defensive Coaching Staff. Everyone else gets the boot. Kurt Schottenheimer should have never been kept in the first place - you KNOW that's a friend-doin-a-friend-a-favor type deal there. MAC's first HC was Marty. Gotta get rid of the coaching buddy(s) approach - they're all yes men.

I do not like Campen as OLC - bring back Larry Beightol, if he's willing. And, Philbin doesn't need to hide upstairs for every game. That's a Tom Rossley move - time to dump the Mike Sherman attitude, folks!

Who's for gettin' rid of the ZBS ?
