Man, Brett Favre? Seriously?
I know a lot has changed this season, but I still contend the Rams made a huge mistake in trading away the rights to RGIII.

Yeah, they could have gotten a pretty decent deal for Bradford at the time and started fresh with RGIII. Hard to turn down such a ridiculous return for an unknown though.

True. And they are poised to have 2 top-10 picks in a loaded draft...but man.

I'm contemplating at what age will the "Brett Favre is considering returning" stories end. There has to be some limit. But if Jeff Garcia is actively seeking a QB job...
Anyway, I do wonder if he would consider coming back if it were a contending team asking and not the Rams. He did take a beating prior to his last retirement though...

No way. He has, what, 2 years left till the Hall of Fame?

Wow he even knows when a team is bad and he would be killed out there.

I despise the fact this "news" is reported on a Green Bay Packer fan site.

Yes. Green Bay Packers fan sites should ignore one of the greatest Green Bay Packers ever.

Glad to see Brett used his head this time.

It's kind of refreshing to hear another Brett Favre story. I have to admit I kind of missed hearing his name lately.
I am sure Brett felt pretty good just getting a call from a team asking for his services. Makes the old man feel good and still relevant as he prepares to mow his 1000 acre compound while Deanna is out shopping for jewelry she doesn't really need.
Good for Brett I say. If he comes back it would be good for the NFL. If he doesn't we'll all see him in the Hall of Fame in a few years.

Looks like the whole thing was just an 'off the cuff comment' & was never a serious inquiry. The media loves to run. Even if they have no idea where they are going.

How does the Ram's GM still have a job after making that call?
