...what a horrible hire Brad Childress was for the Vikings, I shall. The same Brad Childress that spurned the Packers two years ago because the Vikings supposedly had 'superior personnel'. The same Brad Childress that refused to name the best player on his team a starter until halfway through a lost season. The same Brad Childress that spends practice time teaching his return guys to place one foot out of bounds. I could go on forever on the douchery of one Bradly Childress.

But for now I will restrain my comments to his latest incident of idiocy. Earlier this week, Jeff George intimated that he would like a shot to join the Vikings, seeing as the three quarterbacks under contract in Minnesota, to put it charitably, suck. Unfortunately for George, Mr. Childress is not interested in improving his team. He would much rather watch Tarvaris Jackson and Brooks Bollinger throw incomplete to the likes of Robert Ferguson or Bobby Wade.

Now, is Jeff George the answer? Of course not. (Though I suspect Childress doesn't even know there's a question...) But he is a hundred times better than the three sorry excuses currently occupying roster spots at the quarterback position for the Vikings. And after watching Vinny Testaverde come off his couch and lead the Panthers to a victory, you know George has got be be dying to give it one last go. Too bad the Vikings have a complete moron in charge of their football team. Well, too bad for their fans. But from a Packer fans perspective, here's hoping Ziggy gives Childress a multi-year extension.
