Andrew Brandt Joins The Eagles

Ex-Packer executive and friend of Cheesehead TV Andrew Brandt has joined the front office of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Congrats to Brandt. Hope this doesn't put an end to his columns at The National Football Post.

I have become a big fan of Brandt and NFP over the past year. Um, even though I never knew who he was when he worked for the Packers. Looks like he is working with Philly just through August (for now) and anyway, I think the positive response NFP has received will guarantee they don't neglect the site.

I started to get very frustrated that he was always pulling back the curtain on the Packers. I know that was his experience, but he needed to find some other team to spill the beans about. Let's hear about McNabb and Reid for awhile.

Agreed. His website has some very good personnel pulling out all the stops. Yet, when we review some of the financials of Green Bay during his tenure - I notice Andrew doesn't always talk about all of it. Course, there's no surprise there about it. Bragging about signing Joe Johnson has to be a sore spot, I would think. I'm glad he's having some success with NFP. Just keep wondering why he couldn't advise Sherman in a better light, looking back at where we were for several seasons against the Cap, like we ended up being. Guess, it'll have to wait for that book when he retires. The Article about Brett was damn good, though, wasn't it?
