A Word About the Playoffs
By PackerAaron
I know a lot of fans already have the Packers penciled into the NFC Championship down in Dallas. And I hate to rain on the parade, but the Packers will be lucky to win their home playoff game, whomever it's against, if they play like they did against St. Louis or Chicago on offense and/or defense. Bob Sanders is coming off just about the worst game he has called in his 31 games as defensive coordinator. (Allowing that Chicago offense to look close to competent in those conditions is unforgivable) and McCarthy, while hampered in Chicago by the conditions, did not fare much better in St. Louis in a game where he was handed outstanding field position all game and kept settling for field goals.
And these were against two of the poorest teams in the league. Heaven help us when they start facing playoff teams. (Which, may I add, will most likely include Washington, who I am shocked is not getting at least a few votes on the poll to the right. They are probably playing the best football of any team in the NFC at the moment and I would hate to see them coming into Lambeau...)

I didn't get to see the bears game as I was traveling for the holidays but I was shocked to check the score online and see that my beloved Packers were losing to the crappy Bears AGAIN! The weather is no excuse and I was just amazed that the Packers hadn't been able to stick it to one of the only two teams to beat them this year.
I can't wait until the playoffs. I really think that no matter the opponent, if we stick to the big five playcalling and show up on defense (something I've been waiting for, I was incredibly upset to see Steven Jackson's 6yrds/att statistic) we can win.
Keep up the good work folks.
