A failed conversion on 4th down is the same as a turnover, and in this case, it's at the goal line. The hardest points to get on the board are the first ones, and we should be 3-3 right now.

I want to go on record and say...what I've been saying: Love will be a good backup. He is too inconsistent in accuracy and simple game feel.

As much heat as the Packer defense had last week.

Jordan Love should go kiss their asses after Enagbare creates a fumble at the Packers 4 yard line, enabling Love to get a gimmee TD to make up for that sad pass attempt to Reed.

So far, the defense is doing enough to win this game.

End of the first quarter. 7-3. Multiply that out and it'd be 28-12, and I'd take that.

IMO, MLF has to demonstrate confidence in Love early, by passing a little more. Jordan needs to iron out the kinks. However, I love seeomg Aaron Jones running those off tackle plays.

A big play is awaiting up the middle, if Tampa keeps blitzing and Love can recognize it quickly. Same for up the side lines deep. They are occasionally dropping a safety low.

Guys, I caught up with Matt LaFleur on his way out of the tunnel and he said he's happy with his team's first half effort, but they need to tighten some things up, get some things corrected, and make some plays in the second half if they want to secure the victory. He said he's unhappy with Jaire Alexander, a bit miffed at Adam Stenavich, and disgruntled with Joe Barry, but realizes he's a grown man in charge of his emotions and will work through those feelings privately.

This is looking like one of Love's inconsistent early season games.

1st half observations

Kraft looking like TE1 I thought he would be (i.e. > Musgrave). Felt Musgrave was a reach in rd 2, especially with Rashee Rice available.

Year 1 theme for Love: his inaccuracy is putting his targets in (injury) jeopardy too often.

We've seen several coordinator changes lately, however, this team is so young lacking field leadership and little clout--reducing the chance of internal mutiny. MLF doesn't have the balls to fire Barry unless he feels his job is in jeopardy; this coming offseason will be the true test of just how soft of a coach / man he is--as his sh*tty, if not inexcusable executive decisions come full circle post 2024.

Larivee is feigning excitement when Love barely overthrows receivers, his voice is much different when throws are "in the general vicinity" of the intended receiver(s). This is our reality.

When you see Love, with protection, throwing strikes to open receivers, it makes you wonder why we always seem to have 10 points on the board in the second half.

Can you believe it? A freakin major TD to Reed. That's 25 on the season for Love, which is one of the highest totals in the league. It's the ONE THING that we do a better than average job of on offense.....we throw TD passes. And generally, we protect him pretty well, which is closely connected.

Let's see how aggressive Barry has the defense playing after we score the touchdown and get momentum.
