It has been well documented that the Lions have a strong front 4, but a very weak back 7. Might it make sense to run some stretch plays to try to get Jackson to the 2nd level where he might be able to make some guys miss? Running up the gut doesn't sound like the best place to go against this D Line, but finding ways in the run game (or with screens) to get thru to 2nd level might prove more productive.

Who do the Lions play this week? I was thinking they were playing the Bears.
