Week One Diary
I wanted to start doing a game day diary every week. If you don't like that idea, tough shit. I plan on doing it anyway. Everyone cares about what I do on Sundays. I don't want to disappoint.

Week One Diary - Bears
Updated Semi-Frequently
7:45 a.m.
I could not sleep at all last night. I am pretty sure it was the excitement for today, but damn I am tired. I am mainlining coffee right now, getting an early dose of nicotine, and sitting on the porch in what is nothing less than a pristine Wisconsin morning. Of course, I have the Packers mug going. It was a tough call between this mug and my Cheesehead TV mug, but I decided to go with the official logo.
My dog Gary is still sleeping but I imagine he'll be up in about a half an hour to head outside. The first thing I do every morning is check Packers Lounge. Not much going on right now, that's for sure. Time to hit the shower and gear up.
8:30 a.m.
Showered and geared up. I went with the camo shorts, Packers visor, and the #92 tribute fleece. The fleece could be a mistake since it going to be about 82 degrees out, but tradition is tradition. I have to go outside and play some football with Gary and then hit by buddies for a minute before the noon games kick off.
11:52 a.m.
Okay, all fantasy teams are set, and the Vikings/Brent game is going to kick off in a few minutes. I really could use some food, but I think it will wait for a quarter or so. I am way too pumped up for the Pack right now. It's going to be a long day. For the record, I am going to whoop Graffin in Lounge Ball this week. I'll keep you posted.
It's game time, I'll keep updating as I see fit. T-minus seven hours until kickoff.
1:23 p.m.
The Vikings suck ass, come on Cleveland. Cleveland just went up by three with a nice Josh Cribbs touchdown return. Favre is nothing special, and although my mind was already made up that Ted made the right decision, today really rings it home. Fantasy teams are doing okay so far. But, I am getting crushed by Graffin at halftime. I'll come back.
I am going to go make an Oven Works pizza. It's a bar brand, and it's amazing. Going with Pepperoni and a glass of rootbeer. Nice shank punt Vikings, you blow. Five and one half hours until Packer football.
2:53 p.m.
Beating Cleveland is nothing to be impressed about. Let's not forget that. Pretty happy I am crushing it in my money league this year, otherwise not looking so hot right now. Just horked down a nice piece of cold steak, I don't know why but I love that. Going to chill out a little bit between games. This is going to be a boring ass diary this week. Let's get to the Packers game. Four hours and counting.
3:30 p.m.
Nick Barnett just said he got to the stadium, and might be the first one there. Dude is ready for tonight.
I hate the afternoon games, there is rarely anything that interests me. Missed that frickin' Denver play too.
My brother sent me this, I don't know why.
4:20
For god sakes this is taking forever. The only game on is the Giants game so I am trying to check out streams. Please make the next two and a half hours go quickly. Nothing is going here, time to take a break to recharge. Larry Fitzgerald is really letting me down today.
5:30
Well, this will wrap up an unsuccessful week one diary. It was about as exciting as a strip club with fatheads instead of chicks. I'll try again next week when I am AT THE GAME. That should be much more entertaining. Check back after the game, or in the morning, for my Quick Hits and the highlights from tonight's game. I'll be hitting the Gameday Chat, if things are going good.
Finally, it's almost here.
Go Pack Go.

Your #91 tribute fleece? I didn't know you were such a big Justin Harrell fan.

Dang, that's sacrilegious. Changed immediately.

I was kinda suprised Favre didn't make a big mistake today, then again he was playing cleveland. There was one to berrian that definitely should have been picked. His timing was off but that can be expected when you miss the entire off-season. It's never going to be anything like rodgers has his our WRs. That's the result many many hours of hard-work.
Cleveland got a lot of good hits on him today. It will be interesting to see how he holds up

Rodgers sucks..He can't WIN a game...only not lose one, Maybe...
He should have had 2 TD's today.....
Rodgers could never play like Favre did in '07....
(I will be laughing after the Bears kick your asses tonight and the EXCUSES come rolling in!)

So are you laughing ye--- oh wait. No. You said you'll only be laughing after the Bears kick "our" asses tonight. So that means you're...
Well, you're probably crying. Oh, congrats, by the way, on that wonderful "Pro Bowl" acquisition, Jay Cutler. We appreciated it. Even Orton wouldn't have thrown us that many interceptions.
Enjoy your season!
