We should have crushed this team. This was nothing short of pathetic. Time for McCarthy to go. Now.

Not only am I getting closer to the fire fire McCarthy bandwagon, but that whole defensive front needs to go too. No pressure, a young quarterback was given all day to throw. If you can't rattle some no name rookie quaterback, you're done.

Remember the presser when Sanders was fired. The promise then was to have a team that pressured the QB. Well, I'm still waiting. This is the same crap GB had last year. A Defense that could not hold a lead. Throw ST's in ther too.

There's nothing to say but, Fire Mike McCarthy!

This team looked undiciplined, underprepared and were outperformed by a rookie QB and a team thats been outplayed by everyone else so far. Excuses end here, McCarthy needs to go!

Favre would have been great against a defense that generated 15 sacks in two games. Instead of 15 sacks, Green Bay would have only given up 10...and 5 interceptions. You're high if you think Brett Favre is the solution to this teams problems. 2 seasons of unsound play should tell you that.

Ever notice that when the Packers lose, the MM apologists disappear?

The Packers have lost the last two games, and I am planning a trip to Green Bay in a few weeks. Where are the MM apologists? I am fair weather? Really? REALLY?

They're scratching their heads trying to find SOMETHING in defense of McCarthy. They'll be scratching a LONNNNG time. There simply isn't anything good about this team.

Do the Packers have more talent than the buccaneers? YES.

So, when they lose, it's because of the coaching staff... That simple.

Nah, it's probably just pad levels and fundamentals... They'll look at the film and clean it up...

SCREW YOU YOU BIG FAT PIECE OF LARD, EXCUSE FOR A COACH!

fire Ted and Mike now for the sake of all the fine packers fans that deserve better. they decided to rebuild their team when they were 13 and 3. You don't think about rebuilding unless your team is way under .500

How about just trying to call a different play other than run up the middle and 50 yard pass. Terrible, terrible play calling period.

Ted Thompson and Mike Murphy and Mark Murphy must go before I return as a PACKER FAN!!!!!!! They Hired Ari Fleischer to rip Brett’s name. They began rebuilding when their team was 13 and 3!!!!! They have no brains or ability to inspire confidence!!!!

RETURN as a packer fan??? What a fair weather B.S. Go cheer for the purple queens. Some of us have the balls to stick with OUR team. Go root for the queens, when they lose in the playoffs, like they allways do. You're pathetic, and you disgust me.

Return as a packer fan... Nobody missed you, pal.

Only after the last two seasons have I come to understand that Brett Favre was even greater than I could have imagined – hell, he made Mike McCarthy look like a good coach.

Don't lose your balance, Mr. Al. We had younger and less banged up Tauscher and Clifton. We had a good KGB, Corey Williams and Kampman playing well. A younger Woodson and Harris, as well as Grant playing very well... Crediting a 7 game difference on one man is ludicrous, despite how good he performed...

And not only that, but how would you explaing 2005 and 2006? WITH Brett Favre...

He made the team look better than it is, I totally agree. But let's not extend it to magic or divine providence...

We know that Favre likes to call a lot of his own plays to suit him and perhaps McCarthy benifited more from Favre's input.... stand him alone, as he is now, and his playcalling skills go down the pan.

As a longtime detracter of TT and to a lesser degree of MM, it is time to say goodbye. Rodgers was forced to play on two bad feet and had to run for his life. When you do your upcoming analysis, it would be helpful if there was a source that would show how many receivers were out in the patterns and where they were. The Buc's hardly blitzed at all and had 7 or 6 in coverage at all times. I assume the Packers had only 3 out most of the time. A 2:1 or 2+:1 ratio could explain a lot. TT's best O lineman pick, Colledge, was crap yesterday and the rest where worse.

Look at it this way. At least now we know where we stand with our coach: He's more than likely going to be fired.

Imagine if we win today, beat Detriot and Seattle and the final game against Arizona because they've already clinched their playoff spot. We go 8-8 and McCarthy has an excuse to stay for another year. Look at Chicago. They're probably going to finish better than us, but they have such a complacent coaching staff. They're all going to stay on another year and it's not going to get much better for them.

What a weird game. The Packers outplayed them until a few minutes into the fourth quarter and then just rolled over and died. With all the things that went wrong, you have to wonder if McCarthy has lost the locker room. And if it's time for McCarthy to go, what about Ted Thompson? That may be the biggest question at the end of the season.

My conspiracy theory is that he lost the locker room after the Favre fiasco. I think there was too much loyalty with Favre between the veterans. They like Rodgers, but they know Rodgers won't be released if they lose. McCarthy will...

Whoa guys, we shouldn't be so tough on MM and TT. If the pad levels just get a little lower we'll win out and make the playoffs.

But seriously though, if one or both of those no talent ass clowns aren't out before '10 I'm gonna vomit.

It's a very real possibility we go 5-11 this season. The way we're playing I could see a win against the Lions being our last one. Now I know that's quite pessimistic, but this team is clearly getting worse. I was saying 8-8 a few weeks ago, but that's now a pipe dream.

I think 8-8 is a pipe dream. 6-10 looks likely. I stand by what I said last week. The best thing that can happen to this team now is to crater and get this entire administration shit canned. I suppose its possible we could get a worse regime, but I'd rather take that chance knowing we could also get a better one, than to stick with this pile of garbage and know that I am going to hate watching them every week, every draft, and every cut down day. Thompson's process for building a team is fundamentally flawed, and I don't think anyone could argue I'm wrong about that anymore. Mike McCarthy does not do what a Good Head Coach (and his staff) should do, particularly with young players ... which is to make them better. Find me one unit of this team that is better than last year. Rogers has the same issues he had last year ... he takes too many sacks and can't win a game in the 4th quarter. Ryan Grant is worse. The line is worse. The receivers are the same. The D-Line is worse, the secondary is the same. Maybe ... MAYBE the line backers are better. But only marginally. They still commit the same dumb penalties. The Special Teams are as bad or worse as ever. I believe that as a true Packer fan, I must root for them to lose. Like an alcoholic, they must hit rock bottom before they will admit they have a problem and take the steps they need to change. I will not be an enabler and root for them to win so they can back into a wild card game, and make people think ... 'They're turning the corner'. ... and keep this crew on even one more year. I say, Go Cowboys! (Oh god, I think I just vomited in my mouth a little when I typed that).
