According to the Milwaukee Journal the Packers have inked the big boy to a deal.

According to Mike:

"He's got a nice frame," Packers coach Mike McCarthy said earlier this week. "He's more of an athlete. We see him as an athletic frame. Once again, he’s young, too. He has a lot of football in front of him."

Let's see what the kid can do.

I think he will be some good depth, but it will be interesting to see if he can push for any starting time. I can't see him supplanting Scott Wells or Spitz or Colledge right away...but with Tauscher not likely coming back, and Cliffy on his last legs (and I still think they should put Colledge over there), Preston is a guy that could benefit (being a guy with experience)

that's the thought that popped into my mind too, andyman. Wonder if he'll be our next RT. or maybe colledge will, and this dude will be our LG. or maybe he'll suck and not play.

If he starts my guess would be at RG or C.....wherever he sucks less at.....I would be very surprised if we dont have a clifton, colledge, spitz,, sitton, giacommini or barbe line next year....or something relatively close....maybe wells holds onto his job and spitz stays at RG
