Rushing offense – B

Ryan Grant was ineffective (15 carries for 20 yards) though his injured hamstring may have played a role in his lack of production. The Packers, however, were still able to piece together a running game because of 61 yards on seven carries from Brandon Jackson, including a game-clinching 19-yard touchdown run. Undrafted rookie Kregg Lumpkin added 19 yards on one carry. Aaron Rodgers ran 25 yards on four attempts including a nine-yard tight rope run for a first down that was unsuccessfully challenged by Detroit.

Special teams a B- ?

I woulda gave em a solid C for their mediocre efforts. Don't be surprised if Mike Stock is arrested this week for beating the crap out of Frost with a tire iron.

Usually they grade too low, but this time they graded too high. I agree that the passing offense and the rushing defense were both very good. But I would give the passing defense about a B- because of the coverage gaffes that allowed the Lions to get back into the game (CB's having no help over the middle with Calvin Johnson). I would give the special teams a D+ because of the safety, the holding penalty on Bush on that one kickoff, and the 20 yard punt return they allowed. The rushing offense was about a C+. And I can't give the coaches anything better than a B, considering that the Lions actually took the lead in the fourth quarter.
