Leave it to Wayne Larrivee to brighten my day a little bit. God knows he has being doing it for years.

In his most recent post on Wayne's World, Larrivee highlights a recent conversation with Packer's staff. It is worth reading the entire post, but here are a few things that sounded very positive.

Wayne says that the organization feels, "A sense of urgency to return to the playoffs just a season removed from 13-3."

Well, I would hope they do. They should realize their window for success is closing. I am glad I am not alone in feeling that bold moves need to be made.

I was also pleased to hear another glowing review for Dom Capers. Says Wayne, "Dom Capers is a very, very impressive coach and absolutely the right man to take the Packers defense into the 3-4."

Larrivee affirms his convictions later stating, "What reassures me about Capers is this quote: We are not going to ask any player to do something he is not capable of doing for the sake of the scheme."

I like the hidden statement that Capers is not going to be afraid to adjust when needed, and according to Wayne's conversation: Poppinga, Woodson, Montgomery, and Hunter should all thrive in the new scheme.
