One day after doling out contract extensions to safety Nick Collins and Ryan Pickett, and one week after bringing back veteran left tackle Chad Clifton, the Packers agreed to terms on a two-year deal with veteran right tackle Mark Tauscher Saturday, an NFL source said.
That’s the word from Mike McCarthy via our good friend Brian Carriveau from Railbird Central.
I know Packers fans (and Jason Wilde) have been clamoring for Tauscher to be resigned and I recognize what he meant to the offense last year – he basically came in and saved not only the offense, but the season.
