Steelers Reach Deal With OT Flozell Adams

Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network reports the Pittsburgh Steelers and veteran left tackle Flozell Adams have agreed to terms on a multi-year contract.

Financial terms were not immediately disclosed.

A second-round pick out of Michigan State in 1998 by the Dallas Cowboys, Adams (6-7, 338) has started 178 of 182 career games at left tackle during his career, earning five trips to the Pro Bowl.

Adams was released by the Cowboys in early April for financial purposes.

The Steelers have been in the market for an experienced offensive tackle since losing Willie Colon for the 2010 season with an Achilles' injury.
