Seahawks Re-Sign OL Mansfield Wrotto

The Seattle Seahawks have re-signed offensive lineman Mansfield Wrotto, Danny O'Neil of the Seattle Times reports.

Drafted by the Seahawks in the fourth round of the 2007 NFL Draft out of Georgia Tech, Wrotto (6-3, 313) appeared in 14 games between the 2008 and 2009 seasons, starting 4 games at right guard and one game at left guard before being moved to left tackle this off-season.

Wrotto started the Seahawks' final two pre-season games at left tackle, but even with first-round pick Russell Okung expected to miss the season-opener, Wrotto was waived when the Seahawks made their final cuts on September 4.

With starting right guard Max Unger expected to miss Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos with a toe injury, and Chester Pitts' availability in question, the Seahawks need depth at guard and tackle positions, which Wrotto provides.
