Seahawks LT Russell Okung Out 2-to-4 Weeks

After undergoing an MRI on his right ankle, Seattle Seahawks first-round offensive tackle Russell Okung will miss two-to-four weeks, Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network reports.

Okung, who missed the first week of training camp as the Seahawks and his agent negotiated his contract, will miss the remainder of the pre-season, but could return for the Seahawks' regular season opener against the San Francisco 49ers on September 12.

The sixth overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft injured his ankle on the first play from scrimmage Saturday night against the Green Bay Packers. Okung's right foot appeared to get entangled with left guard Ben Hamilton. Okung finished the two remaining plays of that series, but retreated to the locker room for x-rays, which were negative.

With Okung and Ray Willis (knee) sidelined, converted guard Mansfield Wrotto will play left tackle.
