Saffold's Agents Head to St. Louis

Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that the New York-based agents for St. Louis Rams second-round offensive tackle Rodger Saffold are due to fly into St. Louis to finalize a contract.

Alan Herman and Jared Fox of SPORTSTARS, Inc. are scheduled to meet with Rams' executive vice-president of football operations Kevin Demoff on Wednesday.

First overall pick Sam Bradford and Saffold are the remaining unsigned picks of the Rams' 11-player draft class. Bradford is expected to have a deal in place by Friday, the date veterans are due to report to Earth City, MO for training camp.
