Redskins Reach One-Year Deal With WR Joey Galloway

The Washington Redskins have reached a one-year deal with free agent wide receiver Joey Galloway, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Galloway spent last season with the New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers, catching 7 passes for 67 yards in 3 games, including two starts, with the Patriots. New England released Galloway in Week 7, and he signed with the Steelers in Week 16, but did not appear in a game for the Steelers.

The eighth overall pick of the 1995 NFL Draft out of Ohio State by the Seattle Seahawks, Galloway, who turns 39 in November, has caught 689 passes for 10,777 yards and 77 touchdowns during his 15-year NFL career, which has included stints with the Dallas Cowboys (2000-03) and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2004-08).
