Ravens Withdraw Offer from Fitzhugh

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports the Baltimore Ravens have withdrawn their qualifying offer to exclusive rights free agent Keith Fitzhugh, making the first-year safety from Mississippi State an unrestricted free agent.

Signed last season by the New York Jets last season an unrestricted free agent, Fitzhugh (5-11, 2050 had a pair of tackles, including one for a loss, during the pre-season. Waived at the end of training camp, Fitzhugh was signed to the Jets' practice squad, until the Ravens signed him to their active roster in Week 16.

Fitzhugh did not appear in a game for the Ravens, and the Jets would appear to be an obvious suitor for his services.
