Ravens Expected to Hire Teryl Austin

Former University of Florida defensive coordinator Teryl Austin is expected to be hired by the Baltimore Ravens, Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports.

After spending last season as the defensive coordinator at the University of Florida, Austin was not replaced by former Seattle Seahawks defensive line coach Dan Quinn when Will Muschamp took the program over from Urban Meyer.

Austin is in Mobile, Alabama for the Senior Bowl, which usually doubles as a job fair/networking opportunity for coaches.

Prior to his one season with the Gators, Austin coached secondaries with the Arizona Cardinals (2007-09) and Seahawks (2003-06).
