Jared Allen Thinks Favre Should Decide by August 28

ESPN's Chris Mortenson reports that Minnesota Vikings defensive end Jared Allen wants quarterback Brett Favre should make a decision about playing in 2010 by the team's third pre-season game.
Allen believes making a decision by that time is only fair to the team, and to back-up quarterback Tarvaris Jackson, who would start if Favre decides to stay retired.
Mortensen adds that a private plane departed Hattiesburg, Mississippi and landed in Pensacola, Florida within the same hour. Less than three hours, the same plane made the return trip.
Birmingham, Alabama-based Dr. James Andrews, who operated on Favre's ankle, operates out the Gulf Breeze Institute, which is located just outside of Pensacola, on Thursdays and Fridays, Mortensen adds.
