New York Giants wide receiver Steve Smith has been ruled out for Sunday's game, Mike Garafolo of The Star-Ledger reports.

A Pro Bowler in 2009 who ranks second on the team with 47 receptions, 517 yards, and 3 touchdowns, Smith sustained a partial tear of a pectoral muscle during Thursday's practice.

Giants head coach Tom Coughlin characterizes Smith's injury as a "week-to-week" situation.
