Rocky Arceneaux, the agent for New York Giants rookie safety Chad Jones, tells Mike Garafolo of the Newark Star-Ledger that Jones is out of surgery.

Garafolo filed the following update on Jones' condition:

"Up to this point, yeah, I think everything went smoothly," Arceneaux said. "Obviously, they won’t know (the long-term prognosis) for a while, but everything I’m hearing is good."
