According to Judd Zulgad of the Star Tribune, Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre began telling teammates last night that he is not coming back for a 20th NFL season.

FOXSports.com's Jay Glazer is reporting the same thing, adding that Favre is citing wear and tear on his body.

Favre is expected to issue a press release later today.

Zulgad adds that there's a chance the Vikings' ownership group, which met today on the sidelines at this morning's practice, may offer Favre more than the $13 million he's scheduled to make to return for a 20th NFL season, and a second season with the Vikings.
