Cowboys Sign CB Bryan McCann Off Practice Squad

To fill the open spot on their active roster, the Dallas Cowboys have signed cornerback Bryan McCann off their practice squad.
McCann (5-10, 182) signed with the Cowboys as undrafted free agent from SMU in May and posted 13 tackles and a pass defensed during the pre-season. Waived at the end of training camp, McCann was claimed by the Baltimore Ravens.
After spending one week as a gameday inactive, the Ravens waived McCann after signing Prince Miller off the New England Patriots practice squad. McCann cleared waivers and was signed to the Cowboys' practice squad in Week 2.
McCann takes the roster spot vacated when second-year linebacker Jason Williams was released on Tuesday. Williams was claimed by the Carolina Panthers.
