Cowboys RT Marc Colombo Expected to Miss Season Opener

Dallas Cowboys right tackle Marc Colombo is not expected to play in the team's 2010 regular season-opener on Sunday night, reports Tim MacMahon of

Colombo did not practice on Wednesday, and MacMahon reports that Colombo is not expected to practice today. Colombo had arthroscopic surgery on his right knee in mid-August, which was expected to sideline him for 2-4 weeks.

With Colombo out of the lineup, Alex Barron will start at right tackle on an offensive line that is expected to also be without left guard Kyle Kosier, who sprained the medial collateral ligament in his right knee the same week Colombo underwent surgery. Veteran Montrae Holland will start in Kosier's place next to Doug Free, who is replacing longtime left tackle Flozell Adams as the protector of Tony Romo's blindside.
