Colts WR Austin Collie Out Several Weeks Following Hand Surgery

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Austin Collie will miss several weeks after undergoing hand surgery this week, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

With Colts wide receiver Pierre Garcon missing two games, and Anthony Gonzalez sidelined the last five, Collie ranks second on the team with 44 receptions for 503 yards, and leads the Colts with six touchdown receptions, nearly of the team's touchdowns through the air.

The news of Collie's injury comes on the heels of the news that Indianapolis' Pro Bowl tight end Dallas Clark is seeing a wrist specialist in Cleveland for what team president Bill Polian termed a "rare injury" that may end Clark's 2010 season.

Colts quarterback Peyton Manning still has a healthy Reggie Wayne, and Garcon's health should be improved when the team comes out of the bye week. Undrafted rookie Blair White has also stepped up early in his career, catching six passes for 66 yards and a touchdown over the last four weeks.
