The Kansas City Chiefs have re-signed rookie wide receiver Jeremy Horne to the practice squad, a league source said.

Horne was placed on waivers last Saturday when wide receiver Verran Tucker was elevated to the active roster.

A 6-2, 193-pound undrafted free agent from UMASS, Horne caught a six-yard touchdown pass and recorded a pair of special teams tackles, which earned him a spot on the Chiefs' 53-man roster.

Active for three regular season games, Horne has two special teams tackles this season.
