Buccaneers OT Jeremy Trueblood Arrested for Public Intoxication

FOX13 in Tampa reports that Tampa Bay Buccaneers right tackle Jeremy Trueblood was arrested on charges of public intoxication in Indiana on Tuesday night.

According to the report, Trueblood was a passenger in a car that stopped for directions at a gas station. After a 911 call, a cooperative Trueblood was taken into custody and booked at Hancock County Jail.

Trueblood is expected to be released today.

A second-round pick (59th overall) out of Boston College in 2006, the 6-8, 320-pound Trueblood has started 61 straight games at right tackle for the Buccaneers. A restricted free agent this off-season, Trueblood was tendered at the "Second Round" level, and will earn a non-guaranteed $1.759 million dollars base salary in 2010.
