Buccaneers C Jeff Faine Likely Done For Season

Tampa Bay Buccaneers center Jeff Faine will likely miss the remainder of the season with a triceps injury, Stephen Holder of The St. Petersburg Times Reports.

Faine (6-3, 291) missed a month last season with a triceps injury, and four games earlier this season with a quadriceps injury.

Third-year offensive lineman Jeremy Zuttah replaced Faine the first time, and will likely make the move back to the center spot for the Buccaneers for the rest of the season.

Such a move would leave the Buccaneers with two rookie starting at the guard spots, with Ted Larsen--a sixth-round pick out of North Carolina State by the New England Patriots--starting at left guard, and undrafted rookie Derek Hardman playing right guard.
