San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis was a Top 10 NFL draft pick, has been selected to play in a Pro Bowl, and is the highest-paid tight end in NFL history.

So it's not surprising that he possesses a great deal of confidence, which extends to the 0-2 49ers' chances when they travel to Arrowhead Stadium to face the 2-0 Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.

"We will win this game," Davis said on Wednesday, according to Kent Babb of the Kansas City Star. "We have the team to do it. We’ve just got to get rid of all the mistakes. Without the mistakes, there’s no telling where we can go. There’s no limit."

Davis leads all NFC tight ends with 12 receptions, and has 151 receiving yards on the season. Davis has yet to find the end zone after tying for the NFL lead with 13 touchdown receptions in 2009.
