Until Then
Opening day is nearly here. The anticipation has never been greater. Enjoy the emotion of the waiting for that first kickoff. Until then...
Opening day is nearly here. The anticipation has never been greater. Enjoy the emotion of the waiting for that first kickoff. Until then...
... we are still undefeated.
... we are going to the Superbowl.
... Aaron Rodgers is the MVP of the league.
... our fantasy teams are all the winners.
... Greg Jennings is greater than Randy Moss.
... Ryan Grant is going to rush for 2,000 yards.
... the defense is the next best thing since the steel curtain.
... Will Blackmon is the next Devin Hester.
... B.J. Raji is the next Gilbert Brown.
... Aaron Kampman is the next Kevin Greene.
... you are eerily sober.
... your grill calls your name one more time.
... you wait with unbridled anticipation for the next five months of heaven.
... we are all happy.
... until then.

Rodgers takes a nap to calm himself before an important game. I take a shot. I'm so nervous I'm going to pass out. Start the game already!

Looks like the man they call Raji is rolling into town for week 1. This guys only played a few games and he's pushing linemen around like they were nothing.
I FREAKIN LOVE IT!!!!

For those who watched the Steelers and Titans battle last night it occurred to me during the game that even true Super Bowl contenders continue to make mistakes: fumbles, sacks, interceptions, blown coverages, etc. Yet neither team gave up. They remained united, patiently waiting for that next moment when perfect timing met perfect execution.
In that light expect our Packers to make similiar mistakes in Sunday night's game. After all, this is the first game of the year with a new defense among other question marks. However, I truly believe we will win this game and many more this year.
May we all remain calm and patient when mistakes happen. With eager anticipation we "need" to see our Packers feast on Bear meat, crushing their hopes and raising toasts to glorous victory. Go Pack Go!

I think we may start off slow against the Bears, Lovie will likely plan a lot of dump off passes, screen passes and short yardage stuff to TEs and RBs, taking advantage of our zone coverage. I expect we'll get tighter as the game progresses though. I'm not worried about mistakes. Yes, Rodgers will throws INTs, he may fumble and he'll likely get sacked but if he can get right back up and make a play.... well you'll know we have something special. Same goes for the whole team. There's 4 quarters in which to win the game.

The Titans started feroceous at Dline. But without Fat Albert, they didn't have enough depth to rotate personel, and ended up tired at the end of the game, and couldn't put pressure on Big Ben. That's not going to happen to us this year!

Alex cannot hold his excitement, because he knows the first Packer to pick off Favre will be #24, and Alex will denounce Bush not as a idiot but as a GOD.

Hey, MrBacon! Glad to know you follow the same routine I do when on the verge of an important game! I usually go with Whiskey, preferably Johnny Black, but I never say no to a good ol' beer, Wisconsinite or not (no Budweiser). What's your fuel?

Believe it or not, im more partial to liquor than beer.
Captain Morgan is mostly my choice, than or Wild Turkey.

Wow, strong stuff that makes you mistake Bush for a decent NFL player...
