The Tedinator

Something strange is going at 1265 with the Green Bay Packers this off-season. My only guess is that someone stole Ted Thompson and replaced him with a "Tedinator."

"They look human... sweat, bad breath, everything. Hard to spot." No doubt it's the latest model too if this past week is any indication. In the last few days, the Tedinator has handed out four key contracts to Clifton, Pickett, Collins, and Tauscher. This by itself is completely shocking. What is really scary is the machine is also interacting with, and speaking to the fans at fan fest.

I have to say, I frickin' love it. I don't know what they made the fake Ted out of, but it's working fine at the moment. Of course, there is still the chance of a complete system failure with some kind of Duke Preston-ish kind of move, but for right now, the Ted 6000 is working just fine.

He rose from the ashes of the nuclear fire. His war to exterminate the NFC North for decades. But, the final battle would not be fought in the future. It would be fought here, at Lambeau. 2010.

It's a little peculiar. As much as I like the maneuvers, I wonder if this a set up for a bone-head move. You forgot another key piece in this run... he fired the punter. Or at least somebody did.

Ted's doing a Blues Brothers and 'getting the band back together'.... Apart from Kampman, but he was crap on sax anyway.

It's the smartest move, really. To reward the veteran players that performed well. This way, he's giving a message to all the younger players on the roster, that if they perform really well, they'll be rewarded, instead of punished by bringing in someone else overpaid to compete with them.

It's the best, healthiest way to increase productivity, to reward from within. Any sucessful major company will tell you that...

Someone tell Colledge that. Not sure why he thinks bad productivity + lack of availability = a big fat contract.

"Taking care of your own" will only help how talent views the GBP as an organization. It's also good for the younger guys to see that if they 'ball out', Uncle Teddy's gonna take care of them.

wow... 2 days ago I fought; "and now -after Clifton, Pickett and Collins are back for years- it's time to get tauscher a 2Year-deal around 12mil." And tadah! Here we go. Ted does all the moves I would make in his place. He is in my head. The next days TT will cut Bush, trade out of the first round and gets OL, OLB, SS/CB all in the second, drafts the best punter in the draft, cures Justin Harrel, finds a way to make Woodson ten years younger and marries Natalie Portman. Lov'it.

PS: Yesterday TT talked to brett favre. They both apologized and forgive each other. brett stays retired. The Viquees want to start new and deal AP to the Packers for a 6rounder and move to LA.
