Ode To Jersey Al

There comes a time in every Packer blogger's life, when they must take their young and set them free into the scary wilderness known as the blogosphere. That said, today is a sad day, but it appears my baby Jersey Al is all grown up.

There comes a time in every Packer blogger's life, when they must take their young and set them free into the scary wilderness known as the blogosphere. That said, today is a sad day, but it appears my baby Jersey Al is all grown up.

I am sure you have already seen the news over at CHTV this morning. If you haven't, congratulations are in order for young blogger Jersey Al as he makes his way to his own page. It is a bitter sweet day for any mentor, but sometimes you just have to throw your chick off a cliff and see if he can fly or not. Once in awhile you get lucky and a guy just soars.

I remember when Jersey Al first got to my doorstep. He was just a humble guy from out east. He was so quiet I could barely hear him speak when he whispered to me, "Do you think I can write about the Packers?"

I remembering chuckling to myself a little bit and telling him that it would be a long hard road, but if he was really and truly a die-hard Packers fan, that some day with a lot of hard work and dedication he too could make his mark in the Packer's blogosphere.

And so, he did. With riveting articles about the next great running back in Green Bay, and praise to our leader, Jersey Al slowly has carved his name into the anals of Packer's history. Once only known as Jersey Al, now the name Bracco is commonplace at every corner.

So, it is with much regret that I must now direct you to Jersey Al's own baby, Jersey Al's Packers Blog where I expect everyone to visit and comment today on Al's latest article (especially Jeremiah's Johnson). Although it doesn't appear here, thus further sending our credibility deeper down the toilette, we extend our sincere wishes to Al and send him out into the unknown with hug to the man only a mother can love.

I'll miss ya, Al...

A big thank you to anyone who read my articles here. I plan to still be a visitor and commenter here myself, so it's not good-bye. But as Alex said, I'm flapping my wings...

Thank You Alex!

Your need to be grammatically correct is inhibiting your ability to recognize a clear joke in which an informed reader would easy identify as being part of a larger humorous work.

Spelling trolls are instantly thrown into the douche category around here.
