Fist Pump For Peprah

How about a fist pump for Peprah?

I know, I have ragged on the guy for years now. Not nearly as much as Jarrett Bush of course, but I must admit each year when I see that the Packers have once again brought in Charlie Peprah I tend to shake me head in disgust a little bit.

I am pleased to announce that at least for the week, I take it all back.

A lot of people will credit others on the defense this week (as they should) but Peprah stepped it up to a new level today. He out performed expectations and should be commended. The play over the middle where he was a step late but still got the hit in to break up a sure first down (help me out here) was phenomenal, and I think it was the single most important play of the entire game.

We've seen the Packers come out seemingly uninspired for the most part this season. On offense, today was no different. On defense however, Charlie Peprah set the tone.

Nice job kid.

Agreed. Tim Masthay deserves a high five as well.

I too stand corrected on Peprah. When they resigned him during the off season I screamed WTF!! Great to see he shut my mouth. Which is a rarity by the way.

Nice to see some players come through in an important win. May I add that for ONCE I wasn't loathing Jordy Nelson and wondering why he was on the team. Good hands, JN.

People wanted a hard hitter. They wanted Taylor Mays. Well, Peprah hits as hard, and he's playing coverage very well.

Actually, he gets better every week, which is bizarre for a 27 year old, even considering that he has never spend much time in the same system. But ever since against Washington, every game he has progressed.

And last game, it was a complete game for a safety. He knocked out the ball of the receiver TWO times! Amazing.
