According to the Minneapolis Star Tribune:
"A Hattiesburg television station reported today that Favre boarded a plane this morning at the Hattiesburg Laurel Regional Airport. The plane was headed for St. Paul. Sources said Favre boarded by himself and commented, 'We may know something by dinner.'"

So it looks like, in the end, Favre is doing what I thought he would: Skip the first few weeks of training camp. He played Childress and the Vikings like a fiddle. What a liar.

It says a lot that Peter King has finally abandoned Favre. For one thing, King is the most gullible person in the world, so he was always willing to believe whatever crap Favre threw out there. Also, I've always suspected that King had hopes of someday co-writing Favre's autobiography. If that ever was the case, it looks like he's given up on it.
