Cutler Sucks

One more reason to hate the Broncos and the Bears more than I already did.

Hope you don't need to draft anyone... ever.

Jay Cutler, you officially suck. Starting now. Loser.

This isn't as clear cut as bears fans would like to think. They don't have a (1) Back-up QB (2) a first round pick (3) A third round pick (4) 1st round pick next year. But, the bears are suddenly looking much better. They really don't have a receiver but they do have two solid TEs and an RB that can run and catch. Plus they've recently upgraded added two lineman (lost ST. Claire) and have a healthy first round lineman from last year.

On the flipside, the defense is aging and inury prone, the secondary is awful (but makes plays) and the d-line cannot get a pass rush going...BUT they're capable of explosive games and they always produce a lot of turnovers and defensive points. Throw in the fact that Lovie is now running the defense (which could be an improvement).

It puts a bad feeling in my stomach. This coming out the same day we're hearing Nick Barnett and Charles Woodsen openly state they think Our D-Line is understaffed. That means something when multiple players are openly critical of an organization where the players are known for being soft spoken. The backups we have for NT and DE are a fucking joke and our OLBs are unproven. The Linebackers got eaten alive last year and this year they're going to be more exposed to lineman. This season is looking worse and worse.

hey man, it will be ok. compare by position, the packers to the bears, or the vikes to the bears. the pack get the edge at QB, WR, CB, S, K. bears get the edge at RB, TE, a slight edge at LB. the OL and DL are a push in my book.

vikings get the edge(over bears) at WR, which is sad, RB, OL, DL, K, bears get the edge at QB..... LBs and secondary are pretty close.

the bears were #3 on the list of teams that worried about getting cutler. the vikings would have been the worst case scenario, and the lions( if they could have figured out how to come out of the draft with a starting OT, a front 7 starter on D, and anothe WR) would have been worse for us than cutler becoming a bear.

big Fn deal, the bears got jay cutler. if the bears can figure out way to get some legit threats at WR, then we are talking about something completely different. as of right now, the bears are no more a favorite to win the division than they were yesterday.

The Lions gotta be kicking themselves now...they actually have a knockout WR to throw to, yet they couldn't get him.

I don't think he will make as much of an impact as Bears fans think.

That's not to say at all that he is a bad QB - it just means they have a lot of other holes that won't be magically filled by Cutler being there. They gave up quite a bit to get him.

I meant to say something along those lines. They didn't really fill a single hole on defense other giving lovie the wheel. And without a first or third round draft pick, that puts a lot of pressure on the second rounder to be productive.

Wouldn't it be awesome if we knocked his ass out for the season on opening day?

I know we don't really have a back-up either, but rodgers looked like shit his first year too and by year three he probably could have started. I'm hoping for similar things with Brohm.

Cutler is a good young QB, and the Bears have been without a really good QB for over 20 years now. Kyle Orton was looking pretty good last year, but Cutler has way more potential than Orton, and he's just coming into his prime. So I think this is a good move for them.

Well...chalk up two losses by the Packers to the Bears this year....

Ted Thompson is a horse-toothed jackass..and so are all you TT nuttlickers....

Cutler has been starting 3 years, Rodgers has been starting 1. Not a fair comparison yet.

One more season than Rodgers and he's "proven?" Will you give the same "proven qb" title to Rodgers if he has another season like last year?

Or will you always hate him for no other reason than he replaced Favre?

You mean if Mr. 6-10 goes 6-10 again, or worse?

No...he will not be "proven" in the NFL..unless you define "failure" as proven.

Jeff George had good numbers...

Tony Romo has good numbers...

That doesn't make them "winners"....and neither is AROD.

So if Rodgers is Mr 6-10, I guess that makes Cutler Mr. 17-20?

I figured Elmo wouldn't reply to this.

He judges Rodgers based the TEAM'S record, but Cutler is "proven" at 17-20.

Hilarious.
