Allen Lazard has officially signed his restricted free agent tender. With the veteran wide out officially in the fold, what will his role be in a very unique Green Bay wide receiver room?

Good. Never any doubt. He'll be a good player for us. I expect he'll play in 15 games and get about 5 or 6 targets/game. He had 60 last year, so 75-90 is an increase.

A secret to the success of the Packer offense is that we line up Marcedes Lewis and Allen Lazard along with our 5 offensive linemen. That's 7 guys getting blocked on runs.

Lazard has for years done the dirty work, says Aaron Rodgers. I forsee him continuing to be the best blocking receiver, both screens and running plays.

Probably as a WR.

loved this piece Nags. Towards the end you spoke it'll likely depend on how Defenses attempt to deal with the smorgasboard GB brings to each game based on match-ups.

Thank-you also for queing up Watson..IMHO, i think he makes quite a bigger impact than Amari will based on his size & skill set, even as a rookie. You touched on Cobby and have asserted Tyler Davis as well.

Our great backfield is not one to sleep on in the passing game and with Clemons back with AR, it will indeed be intriguing. I am very high on Hill as well...can't wait to see him get back

I see Amari playing out of the slot, more than being split out. I also see Watkins and Lazard drawing a lot of attention from defenders which should help our running game. I see Watson playing across the middle of the field and under the coverage, and Doubs, on occasion, running the deep route, down the middle, or a fly pattern down the sideline, similar to what Jordy and Billy Schroeder used to do. Whatever MLF draws up, I am eager to see the team hit the field and demolish their opponents! GO PACK, GO!!!
