Week 11 Packers-Giants Game Moved Out of Primetime
The Week 11 Packers-Giants game on Sunday Nov. 17 in New York, originally scheduled for 7:30 p.m. CT has been moved from its slot on NBC's Sunday Night Football to 3:25 p.m. CT on Fox as part of the NFL's flexible scheduling policies.
NBC will air the Chiefs-Broncos game on that date instead.
"This marks the first time since the NFL implemented flex scheduling in 2006 that the Packers have been flexed out of the prime-time game," according to the Packers official website. "The Packers have been flexed from an afternoon game into the prime-time slot before."

I'm glad, and figure they know what they're doing, but surprised they would bump GB @ NYG for any game...no matter the associated records.

I'm a Packers fan and I would almost rather watch the Chiefs/Broncos game over the Packers/Giants. It was a no brain call and the right one. Play the Giants a little early, win, then get the hell home. The extra four hours they gain by moving up is huge for the following week.

Yeah...the national intrigue will be significantly greater, which will boost ratings...which is the only reason they'd make this change.

Look for the GB - Atlanta game Week 14 to also be moved out of primetime.
Look for Seattle at SF to end up on that Sunday night. The Falcons are a lost cause --- too bad.

I was surprised to see us in that slot to begin with considering the Seachicken and 69er game has been the talk of the networks even before the season started.

Hmmm... The world will have to wait a few weeks to see the Packers win in New York...if you know what I mean!

They don't play the Bills this year, so they'll be playing in NJ, lol
