After signing a new three year deal with the Browns, former Packer corner back Tramon Williams took to twitter to say thank you and good bye.

Wonder why he didn't mention McCarthy? Just an oversight?

I respond, thanks for helping the GB Packers to win a Super Bowl and good luck with the rest of your career.

Now, onto filling-in the CB depth on this team. The Draft of course will be one method, but let us also look at bringing in CB Sterling Moore who is just 25 years old and played fairly solid as the 3rd corner for the Dallas Cowboys last year and saw his role increase as the season wore on. He's a RFA who wasn't tendered by the Cowboys which makes him the equivalent of a Street FA; aka someone who won't count against the Pack's compensation picks IIRC. He should be able to compete for a game day role and I don't believe it'll cost us too much to bring him in; however, I could be way off on that guess -- maybe it takes a fairly big signing w/ notable amounts of guaranteed money to bring him here in which case I'm sure TT is best to decide on whether or not he's worth it.

"Packer People" is a very vague term. I would point to Tramon Williams as an example.

Thanks to you Tramon for a lot of great memories and for helping bring another Lombardi back to GB. Good luck in Cleveland sir.

Sterling Moore would be an excellent pickup, not sure what they are waiting for though, he wont be available forever.

I still like the idea of Charles Tillman for 1 year.

He want's a ring more than money. Maybe Peppers can convince him Green Bay is his best chance.

To me its nice to read, on both sides it becomes a business but we had a great run together.

Godspeed Tramon. You are good people and a real Packer.

Wish we had kept Rolle. I hope Goodson can at least handle the "dime" this year. We need to draft at least two CB's this year. And two words to all of you UDFA's out there after the draft: Sam and Tramon... Green Bay is your best chance of having an NFL career..

I think he's going to turn heads this year. Look at the players Tramon and Shields became, and Goodson probably has more physical ability than either. I trust Ted and MM.
