Throwback Jerseys Will Be Worn Oct. 16 vs. Rams
The blue and yellow 1929 alternate, third uniform will be worn against the St. Louis Rams in Week 6 of the 2011 season.
That's the word from ESPN.com NFC North blogger Kevin Seifert:
#Packers will wear 1929 throwback jersey for Oct. 16 game vs. #Rams. Consider yourself warned.

So I'm not the only one that likes the throwbacks? Sure, the helmet and the pants are awful, but the jersey is so cool.

The only thing "cool" about the turd-head unis is the stocking cap the players wore on the sidelines...

Once again a solution:
Keep the brown helmet but put black lines on them to create the illusion of the old helmets! Kinda like Michigan..but black.

Gold would look awesome, but it would be too Notre Dame (yeah, I know! No such thing as too much Notre Dame!).
The balck stripes idea is a good one.
But the pants also need to be taken care off...
Of course, as a throwback, it's hard to adjust the uniform without altering history too much.

The jersey's are cool, I use them in Madden, but I REALLY loved the ACME Packers wool knit hat!

I actually like the helmets, too. They resemble the brown leather ones. I think they look authentic to the time. I still DON'T like the Rams unis. I miss the yellow and blue.
