GOOD: CB Chandon Sullivan played a lot and locked down his guy/area.

BAD: Young guys - Basically none of them outside of Sullivan stepped up.

UGLY: The PFF dude who called us frauds.

Im taking a 2 for 1 here and combining the bad and the ugly I'll call it bugly.

The Good: Packers win so hahahahha nanny nanny boo boo to all of sports media and analytics nerds that counted this team out!

The Bugly: Ridiculous fans that don't realize they should look at the actual line to gain and not that stupid fake yellow line! Graham got across go cry about it!

I didn't think it was that close either. I swear to God there were some calls last night where it sure in the hell felt like the NFL was TRYING to give this game to Seattle but in the end just couldn't do it. That "no clear recovery" call on the fumble was just as bad as the PI call that wasn't called on the Rams last year against the Saints.

WTF are they looking at? Sullivan could have taken the ball from the field for his trophy case and the NFL could STLL screw it up. SMH...Calls like that just can't happen...PERIOD!

Especially because the natural call should've initially been to call it a fumble to let review handle the call. Then it's called no fumble and goes to review after we challenge. Well, the natural call on the review should be to give it to the Packers given that Sullivan was first on the ball and ended up with it.

In general, they should be trying to get the call right on the field. I can't rationalize beyond that, but you need to be "on time" with whistles or guys will get killed...and making it policy to force teams to use their challenges and TOs to get calls right is a bad move.

Why did GB get charged a TO? They technically won the challenge. Refs changed call to a fumble with “no clear recovery”. So why do we get a charged TO for their mistake?

The “no clear recovery” thing was ridiculous. A few minutes later the PI on Lazard on a 3rd down conversion robbed us of a second possession in the first few minutes of the game. Also, when we challenge the ruling of a fumble on the play, and the refs agree that it was a fumble, but they couldn’t see the recovery, why do we lose the TO? Shouldn’t that be a successful challenge?

"why do we lose the TO?"

Yeah this was the kicker that really showed they have no idea what they're doing.

I was saying "WTF"? on that loss of a TO too. MLF challenged that there was a fumble. There was a fumble. Regardless of who (What WAS with that BS "couldn't see the recovery") eventually recovered the ball why was MLF accessed a loss of a TO for being right?

I agree. If MLF challenged the ruling on the field that the ball was down by contact before the loose ball- that was reversed by review. Why do they lose a TO when they won the challenge even though the refs screwed up on the call and the subsequent possession call?

By having their refs dictate the outcomes of games, the NFL is getting the same amount of credibility as All Star Wrestling.

Same conspiracy theory BS cries every fanbase. We deserve better, they steal it...….
Thought we could be a little better than this. Besides that, why should the NFL do something like that? Yeah because SEA is such a huhe TV market.
Refs are human and will always make mistakes and most people will disagree one way or another, no matter what the call its.
But maybe the NFL is the best leage in the world and getting bigger by the day because the people like to complain about everything they do. Its kind of attention too.

But at least you get a lot of votes for it. The bad NFL and the bad refs...everything is bad besides us.

Good: Rodgers accuracy.

Bad: where was Lowry?

Ugly: A bunch of injuries which might have an impact next week. Lazard, Lancaster, Preston, Jaire, King, Rodgers, Savage all were dinged.

I am suspicious that some of those "injuries" (that happened right in the middle of long Seattle drives) were just rehearsed "time outs" by the D. Z did it a couple of weeks ago.

Green Bay Packers was a very poor performer team in its earlier days but it is so pleasant for me to see that it is one of the top ranked global teams. It is easy to get assignment writing help through https://www.essaywritingnz.com/ on cheap prices. Their recent big win shows their epic level of performance.

The Bad: Second half was called poorly by Lafleur, we were too predictable and could not run the ball

The ugly: Pete Carroll whining when a call finally does not go his way, Receivers not named Davante Adams need to step up.

LaFleur put the ball in the hands of Rodgers at the end of the game and it worked. He brilliantly took all the timeouts from Seattle so we basically got the full time out of our kneeldowns at the end to seal it as well. We did to Seattle what Seattle did to the Eagles last week.

The Good: clutch sacks by Jaire Alexanderv and Preston smith. Jaire on the two point conversion and Preston on Last third and long on wWilson
The Bad: Non suffocation of Russell Wison in the pocket by the D
The Ugly: the no calls: the fumble recovery, the injury to Lazzard, the horse collar on Rodgers and the constant face masks

The Good: Lots of choices, but going Jared Veldheer. Way to step up with Bulaga being ill. So happy with this BG signing.

The Bad: How I feel for only having negative comments for Jimmy Graham. Clutch 1st downs and sticking it to his old team. Couldn't feel any better about Jimmy than I do now. Hope that continues.

The Ugly: Did we just witness the NFL having a second video review after the call stood? That was the most bizarre few minutes. The reffing was terrible.

Good: Almost the entire first half, the needed sacks on the two-point conversion, and Preston Smith's, Davante's routes, and Rodgers showing (to me, at least) that he's still as good as any QB in the game... though Mahomes is scary-great. And kudos to Russell Wilson, a future Hall of Fame player, and a classy person.

Bad:. Second-half D, in general, though they finally made those two big sacks, play of WRs 2-5, and I'm sorry, but Jimmy Graham gives me zero confidence. Still.

Ugly: Clowney is talented as heck, but is also a cheapshot artist.

Fair point, and I like how Rodgers continues to build JG up.

But no, I think that its been so long since we've had anything resembling good TE play (about 6 or 7 games with Jared Cook) - and before that, occasional splashes over many years from Jermichael Finley - that we accept last night as a terrific game from the TE. I'm just happy that he kept his feet long enough to get that first down by an inch or two.

(This said, I'd be delighted if he shut me and other detractors up, but no, he's been brutal this year. Don't just look at his stats. He's always been a disinterested blocker, has not made a difference in the red zone, has dropped several easy catches, and appears to be on the verge of fumbling others.)

Those 3 penalties on Clowney really helped the Packers. Sure he was able to put pressure on Rodgers from time to time but he also really jurt the Hawks with those penalties. Give me Zadarius over Clowney.

The good, AR, Jimmy, Smith Bros, Kenny Clark Even Blake Martinez, New return guy Ervin nice!
The Bad, sorry Jaire but putting on your beer muscles in this game stupid penalties bad, Kevin King the trick or treat guy, catch the ball when its thrown to you.
The Ugly, being gashed in the second half thank god for that lead. not sure defense would be able to play five more mins

I see Andy Reid recognizing his opponents tendencies and planning to ensure success. MM never could and now LaFleur is showing that (at least for now), reacting to ensure success has not been shown. However, I give Matt a pass, since this is his first year. I hope in the offseason he reviews his successes and failures and is an even better GB Coach 2.0!

Good: Adams and Rodgers. He was accurate all night.

Bad: Slippery Wilson. And he had a lot of open looks by rolling out.

Ugly: yes the refs. I thought they had it in for the Packers in the first quarter.

And thank heaven for Veldheer. Great pickup by Gutekuntz.

Good - TE play. Jimmy Graham had several very nice catches and Sternberger was great blocking for Jones out of the FB position.
Bad - Stupid penalties. Jaire Alexander had a couple of bad drive extending penalties early on. That did nothing to help our gassed defense. That needs to end next week. (I want our defense to get on and off the field quick so that we can wear their defense out.)
Ugly - Lack of holding calls on Seattle's O-line. I am no expert by any means, but there were several completely missed holding calls. Especially on plays where Wilson was able to spring free and run for the 1st. I believe at last count there were 7 that I saw. If anyone watches the tape, let me know if I am seeing things or not.

Good: Roll back the clock day for Rodgers and Adams. Both were outstanding. Anyone that denies Adams is an elite WR just needs to watch video of his routes from yesterday. Jared Velheer stood up pretty well in an emergency start. Defense making plays when it counted, particular the sack by Jaire to preserve the 5 pt margin and the sack by Preston that snuffed the last Seattle drive. 4 minute offense that finished it off after the Preston sack. Extra shout out to Aaron Jones for standing up a blitzer on the final completion to Adams.

Bad: Running blocking and blitz pickup. Too many times Seattle defenders ran untouched to Rodgers.

Ugly: I'll pass on an ugly for today. They won to advance to the NFC CG. Ain't nothing ugly about that.

The Good:
ARod looking like ARod,
The creative play-calling in the FIRST half,
The Smith Bros, Kenny Calrk playing hurt (and playing well), Blake Martinez (which was nice to see).
Alexander finally having a reasonably good game (except for falling on his a$$ on the TD)
Davante Adams, and honorable mention to Jimmy Graham (can you believe that)
Jared Veldheer, great pick-up. lets keep him around.
A really decent game by Special Teams

The Bad:
Creative play-calling somewhat fizzled in the second half (what happened to all gas, no brakes)?
D-backs still playing soft, why just sit back and allow a 6-8 yard pick-up? Even Aikman questioned this, and it's a weekly deal with the Packers.

The Ugly:
Any receiver not named Adams or Graham, where were you?
Poor run blocking in the second half.
No 'Spy' on Russel Wilson in the last quarter (or maybe the second half)
Going back to SF

"The Ugly:
Any receiver not named Adams or Graham, where were you?"

2 catches, 3 targets, 19 yards. Hard to catch the ball when it's not thrown to you, but the questions are:
1. ...was #12 ignoring them?
2. ...were they getting open?
3. ...was Adams more open?

Lazard was injured and not retained in the plan. Pre-season heroes are not Primetime performers.

The Good: Aaron Rodgers, Davante Adams, OL pass blocking on 3rd downs, Veldheer with a solid job backing up Bulaga, Z. and Preston Smith, Kenny Clark, and Alexander. Completely stuffing Mashawn Lynch.

The Bad: Failure to contain Wilson in the 2nd half.

The Ugly: Additional footage???!!! WTF is that??? Pete Carroll whining about the call after 2?? booth reviews!!! He should have been penalized for his antics. Officials Blowing the call on the Seattle fumble. Fortunately both plays became non-factors.

Enjoy the victory, SF next. Thanks, Since '61

1. Rodgers played I think one of his top games of the season. He made some really good throws, got the ball out quick, and converted 80% third downs.
2. Jimmy Graham was big in this game.
3. No turnovers for the defense. The defense is going to have to create turnovers against the 49ners for us to win.

Although it was ugly watching Russell Wilson running wild to continually whittle down our big lead, there was a lot of beauty in watching Aaron Rodgers run the new offense of small ball with such efficiency, and even some flair.
Also beautiful were strong finishes by both offense and defense. Jaire and Preston came up with big sacks; Rodgers came up with big third-down conversions to Geronimo, Davante and Jimmy.
It was scary taking some big punches from the Seahawks and staggering more than a little; what was satisfying was the character to keep our composure and fight back with some clutch counterpunches!
Pow!!!
