All 3, spot on. MVS had some really nice catches (and YAC). The TD catch was insane. Bad is Kirksey. He can’t cover, can’t tackle. Activate Garvin and let the young guns patrol the middle. Special teams are not ugly. They are fugly. Yikes...

The good. Rashan gary. When they played him. Jaire shut down whoever the entire game. Again. Big bob making all the little catches. Same with mvs on contested balls. The bad. Kirksey. Rashan gary not playing in the 2nd half. Sullivan. The ugly. Raven greenes injury. Middle of the field was exploited. And mennenga. Why oh why were you not prepared for the bs banana kick?? Why is oren burks on your hands team?? Hes gotta go. Mike pettine lookin like mike ditka compared to this guy. But hey. Number one seed. Chiefs still gotta play the saints.

Ditka was not at all a better coach as Pettine and I dont think Pttine is any good. Ditka was lucky once and did nothing in his 30 years as a coach beside talk big. Lowest football IQ in the last 100 years.....

And he was far worse as a person as he already was as a coach..........

Dont know why any Packer fan should talk about that looooser as he did anything, beside being lazy .....

GARY and MVS had great games.....again. If if Q gets a little more involved we are unstopable....

The Good, the lions ran out of time.
The bad, the penalties for stupidity and holding due to not being able cover someone with your lack of speed,
The Ugly, Mike Pettines mind, thinking we dont need no stinking pass rush, we dont need no stinking linebackers, we got Rodgers to put up more points then the other team so defense is just a concept, and on this team he is dead right. Worse defense in football right now

We have one of the best pass rushes...but like you said.....stupidity. Buy some Ben and Jerrys and relax.
Did you see what the nr. 1 d did? not better than ours and this Hill guy is not even an back up in the NFL. No chance they can beat us.....none.

Good: Definitely MVS, but he still has to share a little of the spotlight with Davante and Crosby.

Bad: Why complain? It's a road win against an opponent who is at least better on offense than our last two.

Ugly: King going in like a bowling ball on a tackle attempt and whiffing. He did make a nice tackle on the following play, but it was wiped out by a penalty.

Ugliest: The Uber Eats commercial. Enough already!

Beating an opponent on the road who knows you very well with 53 guys all fighting for jobs and an interim HC trying to make a name for himself? Not an easy task. Lions didn't roll over and didn't v. Chicago last week. That's a credit to Bevell.

Personally, I think that Bevell may make a decent HC - certainly better than Patricia.

Kind of surprised he isn't getting more looks as a head coach. He has been pretty good at each OC stop he has been. Guessing this is his best audition for a HC. His coaching wasn't the reason the Lion's lost.

The Good- We won & division champs; MVS; Mason's kick & tackle( Scott not needing to make a tackle). Davante.
The Bad: Unforced penalties.
The Ugly: Special teams breaks down again, Mason needing to make a tackle.

The Good: Mason making that tackle. Time for him to show Scott how that's done because unless Scott kicks everything out of bounds (probably a good idea overall) he is going to be doing more tackling this year.

The Good: MVS for his blocking as well as his td. Crosby's kick and the solid play of the o-line.
The Bad: Penalties. The inconsistent play of the defense and King's missed tackles.
The ugly: Special teams. They were a big part of a Super Bowl win and now may keep this team from getting there.

The good: NFC black and blue Champs, 3rd Q time of possession, Aaron Jones,, Jamal Williams, Davante Adams, Aaron Rodgers, MVS, Marcedes Lewis blocking, Robert Tonyan, Oline and Adrian Amos.

The Bad, soft pass defense

The Ugly: Special teams kick coverage.....Christian Kirksey is normally a great player....no not really....

Did any of you notice that #91 was dropping into pass coverage instead of rushing again When the Lions were in the red zone. They may call him a linebacker, but he appears to me to be an edge rusher more than a DB. Pettine seems to think edge rushers can cover better than our defensive backs. That may be or not. Either way it appears a player out if position. Open receivers. Missed tackles. Three screen passes in one series smacks of either poor coaching or players who are unskilled. Me thinks It is more of the poor coaching. Fire Pettine now!

Good: Win with N.O. loss and packers can claim NFC North title and for the moment top seed in NFC. Have to give credit to Crosby for his 57 yarder and I would love to give props to the offense's 410 yard game, but then I remembered the Lions are ranked 33rd on D.

The Bad: No cream rising to the top on D. We desperately need someone or several players to step up on D or the playoff run will be short lived.

The Ugly: 4th Qtr, defense on their heels, including 6 defensive penalties. lions drive for 80 yards (with penalties). Just heart breaking, where is the D? Where is the discipline???

Again special teams leave gaping holes. Defensive kick return disaster.

ML had better learn to install some discipline.

~Now, go out there and HIT someone. I need a cigar...

EQ St. Brown had outside contain on the kick return he is not what we need on our kick coverage team. Crosby needs to start using directional kicks into one side of the end zone to cut the amount of field to cover. He will not be able to kick the ball thru the end zone in the cold starting next week. Or do we start pop up kicking to the 15-20 yard line? I just don’t know!
Maybe we start putting defensive starters on the kickoff team? Guys like Redmond, Amos, Savage, Martin and Sullivan. They should only have to cover maybe 12-15 kicks the rest of the year....So risk of injury should not be to bad.

Back in the 60s, Jerry Kramer was on the kickoff team - he wrote that he loved being in on the opening kickoff because, basically, it got his adrenalin going for the rest of the game.

I don't think many starters would hate being on STs, but if one were and then got seriously injured most fans would be yelling at the coach "How stupid are you for playing starters on STs, you idiot!"

The good - Aaron Rodgers, Davante Adams, the OL, MVS. Top seed for the bye week, at least for now.

The bad - Undisciplined defense, allowing the Lions way to many opportunities. To many defensive penalties allowing for automatic first downs and even more opportunities. Missed tackles.

The ugly - Special Teams and all those 4th quarter penalties.

Hell yeah he did. Hes getting better every week. They need scott to step up at either dime lb or safety because redmond plays okay sometimes but gets exploited. Same with barnes and martin. Kirksey is even worse athletically. We need amos to be even better without raven greene.

Tonyan had a block where he pushed his guy into the defensive line, where he tripped and fell and it started a domino effect that wiped out the Lions defensive line. Block of the year

Deguara had the block of the year IMO. He blocked a guy into another guy downfiled in the first Vikings game. Tonyan's was a shove in the back aka more of a chip than a block. Yes the domino effect was hilarious but go back and watch the Deguara block.

The Good. What a great offense. The Bad: The Defense just can't get the ball back. The ugly- Special Teams. Regardless this team is entertaining. We are in the playoffs. Why Bitch about anybody.

Good: MVS, Adams, Mason and, of course, ARod. Lowry and Gary each had sacks! Tonyan's domino shove!

Bad: The defense, early on. The defense allowing huge holes underneath to open up for the Lions TEs and WRs. Lions moved the chains all game long in the Packers' soft coverage schemes.

Ugly: STs

Here's a cynical thought. Should Crosby boot every kick off out of bounds? Which is more likely, a score against Pettine's D when you start at your own 40 or a score, or better field position than your own 40, when you get a chance to return a kickoff?

The Good: Aaron Rodgers, Adams, MVS, OL, Alexander, Amos, R. Gary
The Bad: Special Teams return coverage
The Ugly: Too many penalties especially by the defense in the 4 quarter.

The Packers held the ball for 35+ minutes in this game including nearly the entire 3rd quarter. The Lions had possession for less than 25 minutes. While I realize that our defense needs to play better especially in terms of tackling they must have played pretty well to limit the Lions TOP to less than 25 minutes. Thanks, Since ‘61

Agree with you Since'61 on our D. Thinking they've played better than many might be willing to give them credit for. They kept Adrian Peterson in check, a player who can go off at any time, regardless of his age. They also did a nice job on Swift. Holding both to less than 3.4 ypc was a step in the right direction.

Packers offense working methodically, turning 14 and 12 play drives into TDs was huge. Good to see the balanced attack of run/pass. 25 carries between Jones & Williams is something I'll take any day, and, I'd take more. Keeps the chains moving, chewing up clock, limiting opponents opportunities offensively.

Solid win without showing too much.

Good: AR, Adams, MVS, Austin, OL, Big Bob, Gary, Keke, Z, Preston, Jaire, Amos, Savage, Scott, Crosby, MLF.
Bad: Kirksey, 12 men on field penalty
Ugly: ST coverage

The rule on an onside kick - The ball does not become live and legal for the kicking team to recover until it travels 10 yards downfield from the kickoff line or until it touches someone on the receiving team. Hands team members should not touch onside kick attempts that are short and clearly are not going to travel the required 10 yards.

The bad - getting into the 10 yard area so that you have to jump out of the way of the ball. If the other team is smart they will block you so that the ball hits you and then they can recover it. Stay at the 10 yard marker and watch the ball until it gets to you.
