The Good: My son-in-law sang the national anthem today at the game. He also did a half time spot. Some friends sent me videos of it. He did a GREAT job. I’m hoping the Packer Organization will bring him to GB to do a game!
The Bad: I traded an afternoon of prime hunting for this game. That was a mistake.
The Ugly: Our lack of energy.

The Good: The legions of Packer fans who showed up in LA to give the team a bonus home-away-from-home game.

The Bad: The Packers.

The Ugly: Los Angeles.

The Good: Davante Adams made some fine catches in his return to the lineup. The Packers' defense stiffened in the red zone and kept the game alive until they ran out of gas later in the second half.

The Bad: Jaire Alexander keeps getting beat on deep throws - not looking like a potential All-Pro of late. The Packers' secondary in general. Allen Lazard lost sight of the ball and was looking over the wrong shoulder on a long throw which would have been a TD.

The Ugly: The O-line gave Rodgers very little time to throw. Backs seemed to miss assignments and let rushers get to Rodgers.
LaFleur failed to make any serious adjustments to attack the Chargers' defense.
Packers' offense looked clueless in general.
Playoffs? Playoffs? This is why you need to play the game...

All said and done, the Packers are still 7 - 2 and received some help when Kansas City beat the Vikes and the Lions and Bears both lost. (The Bears still suck, now more than ever.)

Well said, this hopefully is a wake up game as Arod expressed. Maybe a bit over confident?

Blake Martinez played hurt and got picked on all game. Not aggressive to shoot gaps when he needed to be and frequently too slow or ineffectual when he diagnosed a play - highlights the lack of depth at ILB of the Packers that teams are now targeting.

The o-line: Penalties +++ plus not Corey Linsley's best game - frequently left not blocking anyone. Bosa when one-on-one beat both Bulaga and Bakh on big plays and ingram terrorized the interior line.

Rodgers seemed to have missed a number of easier underneath throws. That corner route that Lazard missed the contested catch on had a TE and WR free underneath that would have kept the chains moving. I'd like to see Dusty Eveley's "passing chronicles" take on this one as it seems that frequently the Chargers secondary was playing off anticipating the chunk play.

The Good...A Game like this was bound to happen...Thankfully it happened on a weekend when the rest of the division went 0-3 AND it was against an AFC team.

The RZ Defense...They CONTINUED to give the offense a reason to show up and get it together...They just never did.

NO D-Train Dance... They REALLY need to shelve that until they learn to stop the run and cover receivers between the 20's!!

The Bad...The coaches failing to make any real adjustments. I actually thought they's shake off that ugly 1st half down just 9-0 and make a game of it. It just NEVER happened.

The O-Line and Run D.

The Ugly...The coaching staff FAILURE to incorporate all those looks the offense used when Adams was out and combine it all together. There was a couple of series I thought I was looking at MM offense.

The good: I don't think there were any major injuries.

The bad: The Packers missed a green and golden opportunity to move a full game further ahead of the Vikes, Bears and Lions, all of whom lost.

The ugly: Virtually every single thing about how Packer players played and how Packer coaches coached.

Honestly, it's been a loooooong time since I remember seeing a game that was this "start-to-finish awful."

Can't argue marpag, we were due. Hopefully it's good to get humbled.

Sorry, not a big fan of "we were due". When you play all season to make the playoffs, hopefully good enough to win your division, perhaps even get a bye in the first round, the "we were due" can come back and bite you in the ass.

I'm not a big fan of it either but I honestly think it happens in ALL sports. These guys put their bodies through a living hell week in and week out and in 6 shorts days because they still have to practice, they do it all over again. When you factor in the travel time, time changes, and the mental aspect of this game it really is bound to happen which is what I think happens to every team.

Maybe "Bound to happen" and "We were due" are 2 different things but I believe it's saying the same thing. It's FRIGGEN hard to bring it each and every week in this league.

Well the Patriots took a beating too. It's football, beat the Panthers and take a rest.

This was bad and ugly......not even being remotely competitive is concerning. This was much more one sided than the score indicates. The Chargers outgained us 4-1. That is more lopsided than many college games where one team is significantly more talented than the other. This week will be the first real big test for Lefluer and his most important yet. Can he kick this team in the ass, learn what they need to learn from this tape and prepare mentality and refocus for the Panthers? We shall see.

Good: This loss happened now
Bad: Both sides of ball listless and DOMINATED
Ugly: No 'adjustments' to attack Chargers D quitting on run - lack of plan letting Chargers D attack and no one making a play to change momentum

Better learn how to RUN it fast because they need to keep CMC off the field 11 points and less than 50 plays and 2/11 on third down is awful looked just like BEARS offense UGLY

Evaluating players and coaches instead of the game is a better exercise.

Good: Smiths, Amos, Rodgers, Adams, A. Jones, J. Williams, Bak, Bulaga, Lindsley, Jenkins, Crosby and occasionally - Jaire, Savage, Clark, Scott.

Bad: Tramon, Lazar, Lowry, Fackrell, Sullivan, Brown, Pettine

Ugly: Martinez, R. Gary, Allison, MVS, Burks, Graham, Turner, M. Adams, Lancaster, remainder of the receivers, Special teams.

Gute has been good at FA, bad at drafting with some ugly; Gary at #12? Trade up for Burks? Way too many holes on this team that has been obvious for a long time and yet he does nothing at the trade deadline, while already good teams like San Fran, New England, and New Orleans make big improvements.

LaFleur is an incomplete

The good....the game was only four quarters. The return of Adams. Jamaal Williams is one tough son of a bitch. The Bad....volumes....special teams....run defense. Another forty yard plus pass play. Our tackles being pushed back into Rodgers repeatedly~ Bulaga was almost knocked into he Pacific by Bosa on one play...The Ugly? The lack of preparation and motivation by the coaching staff and their inability to motivate them and make changes at half time. Saving grace? We have won as many or more games at week nine than we have the past two seasons. GOPACKGO!

The Good: Mason Crosby, Jamaal Williams and all of the Packer fans who went to the game to support the Packers.

The Bad: Losing the LOS badly on both sides of the ball. Terrible tackling by the defense. Total lack of execution by the offense.
Too many penalties by the offense, defense and STs.

The Ugly: It looked like the Packers took their bye week yesterday. Blocked punt and the entire team, players and coaches, for letting down the fans who went to support the team on the road. Those loyal fans deserved a much better effort.

Thanks, Since '61

1. great fan turnout
2. downward spiral of this defense
3. lack of planning

This defense is not what was advertised in preseason, one thing for sure no pressure (Rivers not exactly mobile) the back end gets exposed as pretty average. The continued issues with tackling, at this point tough defense gets you to the super bowl, average gets you to playoffs. They are neither at this point. Jimmy Graham your time is up, Tonyan, Sternberger, Lewis. Cut him use money elsewhere I can't stand watching him get tackled so easy, goes down faster than a $20 rug maker. Cook, Finlay, Chewy, Keith Jackson where has the time gone?
